Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes peeled and sliced
  • 2 large onions sliced
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Layer the sliced potatoes and onions in a baking dish.
  • In a bowl, mix the milk, melted butter, salt, and pepper. Pour over the potatoes and onions.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.

Notes:

For a creamier casserole, you can add a bit of heavy cream to the milk mixture.
