Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 ripe plantains peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Layer the sliced plantains in a greased baking dish.
  • In a bowl, mix the grated cheese, milk, beaten eggs, salt, and black pepper.
  • Pour the mixture over the plantains.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the top is golden and the casserole is set.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

For a spicier version, add some chopped jalapeños to the mixture.
