Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 6 croissants day-old, torn into pieces
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 eggs large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, eggs, vanilla extract, sugar, and salt.
  • Add the torn croissant pieces to the mixture and gently stir to coat them evenly.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the custard is set.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

This casserole can be prepared the night before and baked in the morning.
