Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package frozen French fries
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
  • In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup and milk. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • In a baking dish, layer the cooked beef mixture, soup mixture, and shredded cheese. Top with frozen French fries.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes or until fries are golden and crispy.

Notes:

For a twist, try adding some chopped pickles or a drizzle of ketchup before serving.
