Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb shredded beef
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded beef, chopped onions, minced garlic, diced tomatoes, beef broth, and cooked rice. Mix well.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

This casserole is great for leftovers and can be frozen for later meals.
