Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine diced potatoes, chopped onion, and shredded cheddar cheese.
Place bratwursts in a baking dish and cover with the potato mixture.
Pour milk over the mixture and dot with butter.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
Notes:
Let the casserole sit for a few minutes before serving to allow it to set.
