Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 cup Uncooked rice
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 1 can French onion soup
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese
  • 1 tbsp Butter

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • In a large bowl, combine cooked beef, uncooked rice, beef broth, French onion soup, and butter. Mix well.
  • Pour mixture into a baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove foil, sprinkle shredded cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

For a twist, try adding mushrooms or bell peppers.
