Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the pineapple chunks, sugar, and softened cream cheese. Mix well.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
In another bowl, mix the crushed Ritz crackers with the melted butter.
Sprinkle the cracker mixture evenly over the pineapple mixture.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes:
For a twist, try adding a handful of shredded coconut to the pineapple mixture.
