Ingredients:

  • 1 head Cabbage chopped
  • 8 slices Bacon chopped
  • 1 cup Onion chopped
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté the chopped onion until translucent.
  • In a large bowl, combine the chopped cabbage, cooked bacon, sautéed onion, shredded cheddar cheese, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender and the top is golden brown.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

This casserole is great for meal prep and can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
