Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a saucepan, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
Add marinara sauce to the beef and simmer for 10 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, beaten egg, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
In a baking dish, layer half of the pasta, half of the meat sauce, half of the ricotta mixture, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes:
Feel free to add your favorite vegetables to the layers for extra nutrition.
