Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 jar Marinara Sauce
  • 12 oz Pasta uncooked
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a saucepan, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  • Add marinara sauce to the beef and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, beaten egg, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • In a baking dish, layer half of the pasta, half of the meat sauce, half of the ricotta mixture, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add your favorite vegetables to the layers for extra nutrition.
