Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent.
Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta and the beef mixture. Mix well.
Pour the mixture into a baking dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Notes:
This casserole can be made ahead and refrigerated. Just bake it when you're ready to eat.
