Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the butternut squash, shredded cheddar cheese, milk, melted butter, salt, and black pepper.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the squash is tender and the top is golden brown.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes:
Feel free to add some breadcrumbs on top for extra crunch.
