Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 can Kidney Beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes with juice
  • 1 packet Chili Seasoning Mix
  • 1 bag Frozen Tater Tots
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the kidney beans, diced tomatoes, and chili seasoning mix to the skillet. Stir to combine and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Transfer the chili mixture to a baking dish. Spread it out evenly.
  • Top the chili mixture with an even layer of frozen tater tots.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

You can add extra toppings like sour cream, green onions, or jalapeños if you like.
