Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella, marinara sauce, dried oregano, and garlic powder. Mix well.
  • Add the cooked ground beef to the cheese mixture. Stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Spread evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
  • Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add some chopped spinach or mushrooms for extra veggies.
