Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a saucepan, cook grated carrots until tender. Drain and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine cooked rice, milk, melted butter, breadcrumbs, salt, and white pepper.
Add the cooked carrots to the mixture and stir well.
Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
Notes:
This dish is a staple in Finnish holiday meals. Serve warm.
