Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 6 glazed donuts
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 0.25 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 tsp ground nutmeg

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cut donuts into bite-sized pieces and place in a greased baking dish.
  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • Pour the mixture over the donuts, making sure they are well soaked.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the custard is set.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes:

Best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
