Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cut donuts into bite-sized pieces and place in a greased baking dish.
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Pour the mixture over the donuts, making sure they are well soaked.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the custard is set.
Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes:
Best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
