Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent.
Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, chili powder, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
In a baking dish, layer the sliced hot dogs on the bottom. Pour the chili mixture over the hot dogs.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
