Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 cup Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 can Tomato sauce 15 oz
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes 14.5 oz
  • 1 tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 8 oz Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 6 Hot dogs, sliced

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  • Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, chili powder, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • In a baking dish, layer the sliced hot dogs on the bottom. Pour the chili mixture over the hot dogs.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

This casserole is perfect for a keto-friendly meal. Serve with a side salad for a complete dinner.
