Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced potatoes, chopped onion, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, milk, melted butter, salt, and pepper.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
