Ingredients:

  • 500 g Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce 400g
  • 1 tsp Oregano dried
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 cups Pasta, cooked
  • 1 cup Feta Cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, shredded

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  • Stir in the tomato sauce, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta and the meat sauce. Mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Top with crumbled feta cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

This Greek casserole is a great make-ahead meal. You can prepare it the night before and bake it the next day.
