Ingredients:

  • 4 cups Carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Butter, melted
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large pot, cook the sliced carrots in boiling water until tender, about 10 minutes. Drain well.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked carrots, cheddar cheese, bread crumbs, milk, melted butter, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is heated through.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

This carrot casserole is a great side dish for any meal. You can add some herbs or spices to your liking.
