marinara sauce

shredded mozzarella cheese

Italian seasoning
to taste

Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the marinara sauce to the ground beef and stir to combine. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
In a large baking dish, combine the cooked penne pasta and the beef sauce mixture. Mix well.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the casserole.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes:
Feel free to add some vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for extra nutrition.
