Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups penne pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the marinara sauce to the ground beef and stir to combine. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  • In a large baking dish, combine the cooked penne pasta and the beef sauce mixture. Mix well.
  • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the casserole.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes:

Feel free to add some vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for extra nutrition.
