Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Venison
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 bag Frozen Tater Tots
  • 1 small Onion, chopped
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook the ground venison over medium heat until browned. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onion is translucent.
  • Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for a few more minutes until everything is well combined.
  • Transfer the venison mixture to a baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  • Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer over the cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  • Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes:

This casserole is perfect for a cozy family dinner. You can substitute ground beef if you don't have venison.
