Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Pork shoulder, cubed
  • 2 cups Dashi stock
  • 1 large Onion, sliced
  • 2 medium Carrots, sliced
  • 2 medium Potatoes, cubed
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Mirin
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and add the pork shoulder. Cook until browned.
  • 2. Add the sliced onion, carrots, and potatoes to the pot. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • 3. Pour in the dashi stock, soy sauce, mirin, sugar, and salt. Stir well.
  • 4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  • 5. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes:

This stew is perfect for a cozy night in. You can add more vegetables if you like.
