Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 kg lamb shoulder, cut into chunks
  • 1 large cabbage, chopped
  • 2 large carrots, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper to taste

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • 2. Add lamb chunks and brown on all sides.
  • 3. Add chopped onion and garlic, cook until softened.
  • 4. Pour in beef broth, bring to a boil.
  • 5. Add chopped cabbage and sliced carrots.
  • 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • 7. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 1.5 hours or until lamb is tender.

Notes:

Serve hot with crusty bread.
