Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pork shoulder cut into cubes
  • 2 Carrots sliced
  • 2 Potatoes diced
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Thyme dried
  • 1 tsp Paprika

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and add a bit of oil.
  • 2. Brown the pork shoulder cubes on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  • 3. In the same pot, add the onions and garlic. Cook until softened.
  • 4. Add the carrots and potatoes. Cook for a few minutes.
  • 5. Return the pork to the pot. Add chicken broth, salt, pepper, thyme, and paprika.
  • 6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1.5 hours or until pork is tender.
  • 7. Adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot.

Notes:

Feel free to add other vegetables like peas or bell peppers.
