Olive Oil
Instructions:
1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add beef shanks and brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same pot, add onions and garlic. Cook until softened.
4. Stir in tomato paste, carrots, and potatoes. Cook for a few minutes.
5. Return beef shanks to the pot. Pour in beef broth. Add salt and pepper.
6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 3 hours.
7. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes:
Feel free to add other vegetables like celery or peas.
