Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef stew meat cut into chunks
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 carrots sliced
  • 2 potatoes diced
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 bay leaf

Instructions: 

  • Brown the beef in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add the onion and garlic, cook until softened.
  • Pour in the beef broth and water, bring to a boil.
  • Add carrots, potatoes, salt, pepper, thyme, and bay leaf.
  • Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 1.5 hours.
  • Add peas and cook for another 30 minutes.
