Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken thighs, boneless and skinless cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 lb Andouille sausage sliced
  • 1 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb Okra sliced
  • 1 large Onion diced
  • 1 large Bell pepper diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Cayenne pepper optional

Instructions: 

  • 1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • 2. Add chicken and sausage, cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • 3. In the same pot, add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until softened.
  • 4. Add okra and cook for a few minutes until it starts to soften.
  • 5. Return chicken and sausage to the pot. Add chicken broth, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  • 6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • 7. Add shrimp and cook for another 5-7 minutes until shrimp is cooked through.
  • 8. Serve hot over rice or with crusty bread.

Feel free to adjust the spices to your liking.
