Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 leftover turkey carcass
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon whole peppercorns
  • Water Fill the Instant Pot with water until it reaches the max fill line.

Instructions: 

  • Place the turkey carcass in the Instant Pot.
  • Add in the onion, carrots, celery, garlic, apple cider vinegar, salt, and peppercorns.
  • Fill the Instant Pot with water until it reaches the max fill line.
  • Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to high pressure for 120 minutes.
  • Once the cooking time is up, allow the pressure to release naturally.
  • Carefully strain the broth through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth.
  • Discard the solids and store the broth in containers in the fridge or freezer.

Notes:

This broth is perfect for soups or sipping on its own. It's a great way to use up leftover turkey carcass and get all the nutrients from the bones.
