Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 3-4 pound frozen beef roast
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: herbs and spices of your choice

Instructions: 

  • Turn on the Instant Pot and select the "Saute" function. Add olive oil, onion, and garlic. Cook until fragrant.
  • Place the frozen roast in the Instant Pot on top of the onion and garlic.
  • Pour beef broth over the roast. Season with salt, pepper, and any herbs or spices you like.
  • Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to high pressure for 90 minutes.
  • Once the cooking time is up, allow for a natural pressure release for 15 minutes before manually releasing any remaining pressure.
  • Carefully remove the roast from the Instant Pot and let it rest before slicing.
  • Serve the roast with the cooking juices as a delicious gravy.
