Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound carrots peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • for garnish chopped parsley

Instructions: 

  • Place the carrots and water in the Instant Pot.
  • Close the lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 3 minutes.
  • Quick release the pressure and remove the lid.
  • Stir in the butter, brown sugar, salt, and pepper.
  • Select the sauté function and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Serve the glazed carrots garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes:

For a different flavor, you can add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the glaze.
