  • 2 cups water or broth

Optional Ingredients

Instructions: 

  • Rinse the wild rice under cold water.
  • In the Instant Pot, combine the wild rice, water or broth, and salt.
  • Close the lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 25 minutes.
  • Allow natural pressure release for 10 minutes, then do a quick release.
  • Fluff the rice with a fork and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.
  • Optional: Add herbs or spices for extra flavor.

Notes:

For a richer flavor, use broth instead of water. You can also experiment with different herbs and spices to customize the taste to your liking.
