Instructions:
In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form into patties.
Turn on the Instant Pot to sauté mode and heat the oil. Brown the patties on both sides and set aside.
Add the sliced onion to the Instant Pot and cook until softened.
Pour in the beef broth and place the patties back into the pot.
Close the lid, set to high pressure for 10 minutes, then do a quick release.
Remove the patties and set aside. Mix cornstarch with water and stir into the sauce in the pot to thicken.
Serve the patties with the gravy on top.
Notes:
For a richer flavor, you can add mushrooms to the gravy.
