Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork belly cut into cubes
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger sliced
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions: 

  • Turn on the Instant Pot and select the sauté function. Add the pork belly and cook until browned.
  • Add the onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for another 2 minutes.
  • Pour in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and water. Stir to combine.
  • Close the Instant Pot lid and set to high pressure for 30 minutes.
  • Once done, allow for a natural pressure release for 10 minutes before quick releasing the remaining pressure.
  • Serve the braised pork belly over rice, garnished with green onions.
