Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or lamb
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions: 

  • Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and brown the ground meat.
  • Add the onion, garlic, and ginger, and cook until softened.
  • Stir in the diced tomatoes, peas, and spices.
  • Close the lid, set to high pressure for 5 minutes.
  • Quick release the pressure and stir well.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.

Notes:

This dish can be served with rice or naan bread.
