Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef tenderloin
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary

Instructions: 

  • Season the beef tenderloin with salt and pepper.
  • Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and heat the olive oil.
  • Sear the beef tenderloin on all sides until browned.
  • Add the beef broth, garlic, thyme, and rosemary to the Instant Pot.
  • Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to high pressure for 20 minutes.
  • Once done, allow for a natural pressure release for 10 minutes before quick releasing the remaining pressure.
  • Remove the beef tenderloin from the Instant Pot and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve the beef tenderloin with the cooking juices as a sauce.

Notes:

For best results, use a meat thermometer to ensure the beef tenderloin reaches your desired level of doneness.
