Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 lbs beef bones
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tablespoon whole black peppercorns
  • Water enough to cover ingredients

Instructions: 

  • Place all ingredients in the Instant Pot.
  • Fill with water until ingredients are covered.
  • Close the lid and set to high pressure for 120 minutes.
  • Allow for natural pressure release.
  • Strain the stock and discard solids.
  • Use or store as needed.

Notes:

This beef stock can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
