Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds flank steak sliced into thin strips
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions: 

  • Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and heat the vegetable oil.
  • Season the steak strips with salt and pepper, then brown them in the Instant Pot.
  • Add the onions, bell peppers, and garlic to the pot and sauté for a few minutes.
  • Pour in the soy sauce and beef broth, then close the lid and set the Instant Pot to high pressure for 10 minutes.
  • Once done, do a quick release and open the lid.
  • In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Stir this into the pepper steak mixture in the Instant Pot.
  • Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode again and cook until the sauce thickens.
  • Serve the pepper steak over rice or noodles.
