Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 3 lb beef brisket
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 unit onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Season the brisket with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  • Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and heat olive oil. Sear the brisket on all sides until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • Add onions and garlic to the pot, sauté until softened.
  • Pour in beef broth, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well.
  • Return the brisket to the pot. Close the lid and set to high pressure for 60 minutes.
  • Allow natural pressure release for 15 minutes, then quick release.
  • Remove brisket and let it rest before slicing.
  • Serve with the cooking juices as a sauce.

Notes:

For best results, let the brisket rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing. This helps retain the juices and makes for a more tender bite.
