Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb asparagus trimmed
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 lemon zest of
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • Place the asparagus in the Instant Pot with 1 cup of water. Close the lid and set the valve to sealing.
  • Cook on high pressure for 1 minute. Quick release the pressure.
  • Remove the asparagus from the Instant Pot and season with salt and pepper.
  • In a small pan, heat the olive oil and sauté the garlic until fragrant. Pour the garlic oil over the asparagus.
  • Finish with lemon zest before serving.

Notes:

For a variation, try adding a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese or a dash of balsamic vinegar.
