Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 beef tongue (about 2-3 lbs)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 bay leaves

Instructions: 

  • Place the beef tongue in the Instant Pot.
  • Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Pour in the beef broth and add the bay leaves.
  • Close the Instant Pot lid and set the valve to sealing.
  • Cook on high pressure for 60 minutes.
  • Once done, allow for a natural pressure release for 15 minutes before quick releasing the remaining pressure.
  • Remove the beef tongue from the Instant Pot and let it cool slightly.
  • Peel off the outer skin of the tongue.
  • Slice the beef tongue and serve with your favorite side dishes.
