Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 3-4 lb beef brisket
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Season the brisket with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
  • Place the sliced onion and minced garlic in the Instant Pot.
  • Pour in the beef broth and place the seasoned brisket on top.
  • Pour BBQ sauce over the brisket.
  • Close the Instant Pot lid, set to high pressure for 90 minutes.
  • Once done, allow for natural pressure release for 15 minutes, then quick release.
  • Remove the brisket, slice or shred, and serve with the BBQ sauce from the pot.

Notes:

For extra flavor, you can marinate the brisket overnight with the seasonings and BBQ sauce.
