Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions: 

  • In the Instant Pot, combine soy sauce, water, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
  • Add chicken thighs to the pot and coat them with the sauce.
  • Close the lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
  • Once done, allow for a natural pressure release for 5 minutes, then do a quick release.
  • Remove the chicken from the pot and shred or slice it.
  • Serve the chicken with the sauce from the pot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes:

Serve with steamed rice and vegetables for a complete meal.
