Instructions:
Pour the milk into the Instant Pot and close the lid. Set to Yogurt function and adjust to boil. Let it heat until it reaches 180°F (82°C).
Turn off the Instant Pot and let the milk cool to 110°F (43°C). Remove any skin that has formed on top.
In a small bowl, mix the plain yogurt with a cup of the warm milk. Pour the mixture back into the Instant Pot and stir well.
Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to Yogurt function for 8 hours.
After 8 hours, open the Instant Pot and stir in the sugar and vanilla extract.
Transfer the yogurt to containers and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
