  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 1.5 cups vegetable or chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions: 

  • Add orzo, broth, olive oil, salt, and pepper to the Instant Pot.
  • Close the lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.
  • Once done, quick release the pressure and carefully open the lid.
  • Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes:

Feel free to add more vegetables or proteins to make it a complete meal.
