Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 3 lbs pork shoulder trimmed and cut into chunks
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • BBQ sauce to taste

Instructions: 

  • Season the pork with paprika, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the pork, onion, garlic, and chicken broth in the Instant Pot.
  • Close the lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 60 minutes.
  • Once done, allow for a natural pressure release for 15 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
  • Shred the pork using two forks and mix in BBQ sauce to taste.
  • Serve on buns or with your favorite sides.

Notes:

For best results, use a good quality BBQ sauce. You can also add additional spices or herbs to the seasoning mix to customize the flavor to your liking.
