Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs beef tips
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions: 

  • Season beef tips with salt and pepper.
  • Set Instant Pot to sauté mode and brown beef tips in batches. Remove and set aside.
  • Add onion and garlic to the pot, sauté until softened.
  • Pour in beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme. Stir to combine.
  • Return beef tips to the pot. Close the lid and set to high pressure for 15 minutes.
  • Quick release pressure and open the lid.
  • In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Stir into the beef mixture to thicken.
  • Serve beef tips over rice or mashed potatoes, garnished with chopped parsley.
