Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and brown the ground beef.
Add the onion and garlic, cook until softened.
Stir in the mixed vegetables, beef broth, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce.
Close the Instant Pot lid and set to high pressure for 5 minutes.
Quick release the pressure and stir the mixture.
Spread the mashed potatoes over the beef mixture.
Set the Instant Pot to broil mode and cook until the potatoes are golden brown.
Notes:
For a vegetarian version, you can substitute the ground beef with lentils or a meat substitute.
