Instructions:
Season the short ribs with salt and pepper.
Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and heat the olive oil.
Brown the short ribs on all sides, then remove and set aside.
Add the onion and garlic to the Instant Pot and sauté until softened.
Pour in the beef broth and deglaze the pot, scraping up any browned bits.
Stir in the barbecue sauce, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.
Return the short ribs to the pot, close the lid, and set to high pressure for 45 minutes.
Once done, allow for a natural pressure release for 10 minutes before quick releasing any remaining pressure.
Serve the short ribs with the sauce from the pot.
Notes:
For best results, use a good quality barbecue sauce. You can also add vegetables like carrots and potatoes to the pot for a complete meal.
