  • 5 pounds chitterlings cleaned and rinsed
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 4 cups water

Instructions: 

  • Place chitterlings, onion, garlic, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and bay leaf in the pressure cooker.
  • Add water and stir to combine.
  • Close the pressure cooker lid and set to high pressure for 1 hour.
  • Once cooking is complete, allow pressure to release naturally before opening the lid.
